Open DYMO ID Kiosk Administration
from the desktop.
Select the Options
button on the toolbar.
In the Identification
tab, enter your company's name in the Company
Name field.
Click Save.
Close the DYMO ID Kiosk Administration program
and restart DYMO ID Security Kiosk.

"Error: Company Name 'SiteName' is not
referenced in Label Template" |
Run DYMO Label software
from the Kiosk desktop.
Open the DYMO Label Template file you are using
as your visitor pass.
Select the Designer
button.
Right click the area on the label containing the
company address.
In the Object Properties
window, enter "SiteName" (without
the quotes) in the Reference Name field.
Click OK.
Click the Save
button on the toolbar and close DYMO Label software.
Restart DYMO ID Security Kiosk.

"ERROR: Company Address is in Label Template
but is blank in Options" |
Enter your Company address:
Start DYMO ID Kiosk Administration.
Select the Options
button on the toolbar.
In the Identification
tab, enter your company's address in the Company
Address field.
Click Save.
Close the DYMO ID Kiosk Administration program
and restart DYMO ID Security Kiosk.
Alternatively, if you don't want an address displayed on the visitor
pass, remove the address text box from the DYMO Label Template:
Run the DYMO Label
software from your desktop.
Open the DYMO Label Template VisPassPhoto.LWT
or VisPassNoP.LWT file (Kiosk Visitor Pass
file) from C:\Program Files\KVKiosk\Database.
Select the Designer
button.
Remove the text box labelled SiteAddress
from the label.
Select the Save
button and close DYMO Label software.
Restart DYMO ID Security Kiosk.

"ERROR: Company Logo File:..."
|
Start DYMO ID Kiosk Administration.
Select the Options
button on the toolbar.
Select the Load Image
File button.
Select your company logo from the Windows directory
where you store it.
Click Save.
Close the DYMO ID Kiosk Administration program
and restart DYMO ID Security Kiosk.
Alternatively, if you don't want a logo image displayed on the visitor
pass, remove the logo box from the DYMO Label Template:
Run the DYMO Label
software from your desktop.
Open the DYMO Label Template VisPassPhoto.LWT
or VisPassNoP.LWT file (Kiosk Visitor Pass
file) from C:\Program Files\KVKiosk\Database.
Select the Designer
button.
Remove the text box labelled SiteLogo
from the label.
Select the Save
button and close DYMO Label software.
Restart DYMO ID Security Kiosk.

"ERROR: The Visitor Pass Template Name
is blank in Options" |
Run DYMO ID Kiosk Administration.
Select the Options
button on the toolbar.
Select the Camera/Printer
tab.
Select the Change Visitor
Pass Template button.
Select the VisPassPhoto.LWT
file (or custom *.LWT file) from C:\ProgramFiles\KVKiosk\Database or from other
location where stored.
Click Save.
Close the DYMO ID Kiosk Administration program
and restart DYMO ID Security Kiosk.

"ERROR: Video failure - Could not connect
to the Video Driver" |
Check the web-cam or other video source connected
to the computer. Unplug the camera device then plug it back in to check
the connection.
Start DYMO ID Kiosk Administration.
Select the Options
button on the toolbar.
Select the Camera/Printer
tab.
In the Video Camera
section, select the Video Source button
and make sure the web-cam or video source is selected.
Click OK to close
the Video Source window.
Click Save.
Close the DYMO ID Kiosk Administration program
and restart DYMO ID Security Kiosk.
Note: If the problem
persists you might need to re-install or even replace the web-cam. |

"ERROR: There are no Staff records" |
To add staff:
Run DYMO ID Kiosk Administration.
Select the Staff
button on the toolbar to open the Staff window.
Select New to
add a Staff record, complete all fields and select Save.
The Staff record has been added!
Repeat the process to add more staff.
To disable staff
Start DYMO ID Kiosk Administration.
Select the Options
button on the toolbar.
Select the Functionality
tab.
Disable the Require the
visitor to select the staff member they are visiting option.
Note: If you disable
staff, visitors will not be able to select the staff member they are visiting
during sign-in and staff will not be alerted when visitors sign-in. |
